Art

Through a series of exciting termly projects, students are introduced to a selection of famous artists work from a variety of cultures both past and present.  

The projects main aim is to develop knowledge in key elements of art such as line, shape, texture, form, space, colour and value, through exploring a variety of art processes and techniques such as clay, batik, print and painting.  

Exploring such techniques in the aim to develop their creative, imaginative and practical skills to enable them to express ideas and feelings, record observations and design ideas.  

Through their own explorations and the study of other artists work, students will develop visual language skills enabling them to express ideas and opinions using an art vocabulary.
